All work at Montebello that affects the physical appearance of the facility must adhere to Montebello’s Design Master Plan.
Montebello’s Design Master Plan was developed to establish long-term guidelines, based on sound design principles, for decisions affecting the appearance of Montebello: capital improvement projects, renovations and restorations, repairs and maintenance, and operations. The desired effects of the Plan are to uplift the quality of life for residents, enhance the experience for guests, and contribute to the overall value of the property.
Intended users of the Design Master Plan include Montebello governance bodies, design consultants, management and staff, and residents and owners, during planning, design, construction or installation, and maintenance and operations.
The final, approved Design Master Plan has two segments, an Overview and the Guiding Principles and Implementation.
